Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD)
In the CVD process, a diamond seed is placed in a chamber filled with a carbon-rich gas. The gas is then heated to a high temperature, which causes the carbon to break down and produce a diamond coating on the seed. Depending on the size and quality of the diamond, this procedure might take several days or weeks. Both methods produce high-quality diamonds that look and feel just like mined diamonds. The diamonds are then cut, polished, and graded in compliance with the same standards used for mined diamonds.
